For thirty years H-B-E has used it's 'Help End Hunger' campaign to battle hunger in Texas and Mexico.

Today they donated $444,500 to food banks all over the state of Texas.

15 food banks will benefit from the thousands of dollars that was raised in H.E.B stores all across Texas.

The food Bank of West Central Texas will receive $14,500 of the total donations.

This is enough money to supply 50,750 meals to hungry families. 

This annual campaign occurs at the checkout and encourages customers to tear off coupons to add to the amount of their final grocery bill.

The coupons come in $1, $3, and $5 variations and 100% of the money goes directly to the fund later distributed across the state.
