Hardin-Simmons freshmen spent Tuesday moving into their new homes.
Students then spent the rest of the day getting to know the campus with their parents.
The hardest part of the day came Tuesday night when parents said goodbye to their student.
The new class of freshmen will spend the rest of the week exploring campus and getting to know their peers.
