Taylor Partain, 24, was arrested March 20, 2012, and charged with arson in connection with a fire at a church in Hamby. A volunteer firefighter in Hamby, Partain was later charged in connection with a fire in the area during the disastrous wildfire season in 2011.
The volunteer firefighter accused of trying to set the Hamby Methodist Church on fire was indicted by a Taylor County grand jury Thursday.
During March, 24-year old Taylor Dupree Partain admitted to authorities that he set the fire that partially burned the Hamby Methodist Church.
Investigators also suspect Partain may be responsible for some grass fires in Jones County in May of last year.
