I-20 accident sends two to a hospital

Two people were injured in an accident along Interstate 20 about 6:30 Thursday night.

Authorities on the scene say the driver of a vehicle traveling east on the Interstate lost control and the car ended up on its top on the East Stamford Street frontage road where it's currently under construction. 

Two people were in the car.  The female driver had to be extricated and a young child was also injured. 

Both were taken to a hospital to be checked out.
