Former ACU track and field standout Nick Jones finished 22nd in the Shotput Olympic trails in Eugene, Oregon.
Jones fouled in two of his three rounds.
Jones will compete in the Discuss trails Monday at 3:30 pacific time in Eugene for a spot on the Olympic team for the London games.
