Kenley School was put on lockdown Thursday afternoon after police say a man with a gun was seen by the school.
The school, located at South 14th and Sewell, was on lockdown because police were looking for a wanted suspect that ran from them after a traffic stop.
Police said two suspects in a car were taken into custody. The third took off. Police said he had warrants for his arrest.
Police found two guns in the area of the stop which prompted the lockdown, just before 4 p.m. Thursday.
The school opened back up after 10 minutes.
Police are still looking for that third person.
Kenley school is a non-profit, private school for children with learning disabilities.
