Lake Brownwood sees much-needed increase in water after a rainy weekend

BROWNWOOD, Texas -

Dennis Spinks, general manager of the Brown County Water Improvement District, said the lake has risen 3.74 feet since Thursday.

Lake Brownwood's current elevation is 1414.94 feet.

Spinks said this is a great increase in the level of the lake, and all of the boat ramps continue to stay open.
