The town of Lawn has issued a boil water notice due to loss of pressure in the water system.

City officials said the problem has been corrected with the pumps. The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required the Lawn Water System to notify customers of the need to boil their water prior to consumption.

All residents should boil their water used for drinking, cooking or making ice.
