Police say a man has been slain and a woman wounded in stabbings at a house in a wealthy Dallas enclave.
According to Highland Park police, no suspects are being sought following the incident early Wednesday.
Sgt. Lance Koppa said police received a 911 call from the house and then the phone disconnected. He declined to say whether the attack involves a domestic disturbance.
Koppa said some adolescent witnesses are being questioned.
Koppa said the woman is hospitalized in stable condition with injuries not believed to be life-threatening. Names of the man and woman and their relationship haven't been released.
Police had no prior disturbance calls at the home.
Highland Park is located near Southern Methodist University.
