About  9:45 Wednesday night, Abilene Police were called to the South 14th exit of South Clack in Abilene, where a man in his mid 30's was hit by a car.

The man, whose identity police would not release, was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Police did not issue a citation, saying the car had the right of way and did not release the name of the driver.

The South 14th exit and South Clack were closed for a brief time but re-opened in less than an hour.
