ABILENE, Texas -

Many school districts across the Big Country have delayed the start of classes Monday morning because of icy road conditions.

Abilene Independent School District schools will open at normal start times Monday morning, school officials said.

Here are the delay notifications KTXS News has received from schools across the Big Country:

Snyder ISD: school at 10 a.m. as well, according to the superintendent. There will be no rural buses.

Clyde ISD: school at 10 a.m.. Buses will run two hours late.

Sweetwater ISD: classes start at 10 a.m. Buses will run two hours late.

Jim Ned ISD: classes start two hours late. Buses will run two hours late.

Roby ISD: will delay school and classes will start at 10 a.m. on Monday morning, according to school officials. There will be no bus service.

Hermleigh ISD: classes start at 10 a.m. Buses will also run two hours late.

Aspermont ISD: classes start at 10 a.m. Buses will run two hours late.

Ira ISD: classes start at 10 a.m. Buses will run two hours late.

Hamlin ISD: classes start at 10 a.m. Buses will be delayed two hours.

Rotan ISD: classes start at 10 a.m. Buses will be delayed two hours.

Stamford ISD: classes start at 10 a.m. Buses will be delayed two hours.

Haskell ISD: classes start at 10 a.m. Buses will be delayed two hours.

Paint Rock ISD: classes start at 10 a.m. Buses will be delayed two hours.

Sweetwater Christian schools 10 a.m. start

Highland ISD: classes start at 10 a.m. Buses will be delayed two hours.

Anson ISD: classes start at 10 a.m. Buses will be delayed two hours.

Rule ISD: classes start at 10 a.m. Buses run two hours late on pavement only.

Paint Creek ISD: classes start at 10 a.m. Buses will be delayed two hours.

Colorado City ISD: classes start at 10 a.m. Buses will be delayed two hours.

Baird ISD: classes start at 10 a.m. Buses will be delayed two hours.

Ranger ISD: classes start at 10 a.m. Buses will be delayed two hours.

Cisco ISD: classes start at 10 a.m. Buses will be delayed two hours.
