This is the 28th year the Abilene Chamber of Commerce has held the Business Expo at the Abilene Civic Center.
It's a favorite for many in the community, more than 215 businesses set up booths to showcase what their business had to offer.
Businesses explain all about their products and services and also it's a great time to network with other businesses.
Abilene Artificial Limb Co. has been in business in Abilene since 1982. Even after all these years in business- they decided to participate in the Business Expo for the very first time.
"Oh fantastic, yeah we had quite a few people stop by because they see the different limbs and everything we have out here," Chesley Gollihar said with the Abilene Artificial Limb Co.
The company told us their business is primarily based on doctor referrals. This event is just another way for them to get noticed in the community.
"It's very good for us because it puts our name out there a lot better," Gollihar said.
For some local businesses it is their first time being at the Business Expo, but for others it's an annual tradition.
"You know what we've been doing this repeatedly," Bobby Johnson said with A&A Siding and Construction Company.
It's not only beneficial for businesses customers throughout the Big Country have a chance to see what our area has to offer.
