New Abilene businesses: Plenty of places to eat
Several new restaurants are opening
Breakfast food will be a little easier to find on Abilene's south side. The Flipping Egg will open off of Danville, just next to the old Quizno's location.
An Abilene favorite is back. Mexican restaurant Enrique's re-opened its doors Wednesday.
You may have noticed the McDonald's on North 1st is gone. An entirely new facility is being built in its place.
A much-anticipated third Chick-fil-A restaurant is set to open July 12. The northside store off Highway 351 will feature a double drive-through.
And there's more to report on Highway 351 at East Lake Road. Hef's Burgers will be building a third location on property it will share with a New Golden Chick.
As KTXS reported previously , the old Hacienda restaurant off Clack is under contract. Tom Niblo, who's working the deal for Senter Realtors, can't yet release who's moving in, but says it'll be direct competition for IHOP.
