No burn ban in Taylor Country, but use caution with fireworks

ABILENE, TX -

Although Taylor County is not currently under a burn ban, please use caution with fire this holiday season.

Fireworks are not allowed within the city limits. Weather conditions are still dry and it's easy for a fire to start. 

If you are burning or using open flames outdoors, be sure to keep water nearby.  There are exceptions to the burn ban. If you are a landowner, log onto http://www.taylorcountytexas.org for the list.
