Firefighters in Jones county are currently working an oil tank battery fire on Highway 277 between Anson and Stamford.
It is believed that lightning ignited the oil tank battery late this afternoon. In a picture sent to us by a KTXS viewer, flames and thick black smoke could be seen pouring into the air.
