Dr. Jimmy Wadley visited KTXS Friday to share eye health tips, as part of Personal Health Month on KTXS This Morning.
Wadley brought along some "dos" and "do nots" when it comes to eating healthy for your eyes.
"We bombard our bodies, and therefore our eyes, with things that aren't good for us," Wadley said.
Wadley suggests eating five fruits and vegetables daily.
Foods with bright colors, such as eggplants, tomatoes, and peppers, contain nutrients that help retinas.
