Overnight fire damages building on Walnut Street in Abilene

ABILENE, Texas -

The Abilene Fire Department responded to a fire at a building on Walnut Street late Monday night.

The call came in around 11:40 p.m. to a structure in the 800 block of Walnut Street in North Abilene.

Reports from the scene said the fire came out of an office window of an automotive garage building. AFD quickly got the flames under control.

There were no reported injuries.

The Abilene Fire Department is still investigating what caused the fire.
