An Abilene woman accused of trying to sell her baby for $2000 is close to a plea agreement.

Under the agreement, Joanna Delacruz could be sentenced to two years in prison for trying to sell her baby to 27-year old Marilu Munoz in 2011.

Delacruz could have served up to ten years in prison.

A judge still needs to approve the plea deal, and hear another matter Delacruz was involved in as well.

Her next court date will be in March.
