Authorities have released the name of the surviving victim of a stabbing that killed one man last week.

According to Abilene police, 20-year-old Darius Bacchus was found with several stab wounds in the 1000 block of Beech Street last Thursday.

Bacchus is recovering and in good condition at Hendrick Medical Center, hospital officials said.

Police have alleged 21-year-old Demarko Brown stabbed Bacchus more than once during a fight.

Natosh Boyd, 38, Bacchus’ father, was killed during the altercation, police have said.
