Shower and storms brought much-needed summer rainfall to the Big Country Sunday evening.

A slow moving frontal boundary is expected to bring more rainfall through the first part of this week as well.

According to the city of Abilene, rainfall ranged from .45" at Station No. 7 (4317 N. 10th St.) to 1.72" at Station No. 1 (250 Grape St.) on Sunday.

Widespread rainfall is expected again Monday and Tuesday with slight rain chances remaining in the forecast through Thursday.
