Reagan County Deputy, Joshua Mitchell, who police said was shot to death by Marcus Wade Madison, was laid to rest on Wednesday.
The funeral procession began in San Angelo and ended in Big Lake.
The Reagan County Sheriff's Office along with several other agencies escorted the fallen deputy along the 70 mile journey.
Members of the San Angelo community showed their support by lining the streets as the procession left the city.
