Skywarn class teaches Big Country residents to keep their eyes on the sky
Weather enthusiasts attended the Skywarn storm spotter training course this morning at Abilene Christian University.
About 100 became storm spotters or extended their storm spotter education, certified by the National Weather Service.
The class explained how storms form and what to look for during severe weather events.
Participants were given door prizes such as thermometers and rain gauges.
All three KTXS meteorologists were in attendance.
