Spraberry retiring as county extension agent

ABILENE, Texas -

A familiar face at the Taylor County Extension Office is moving on to another phase of her life.

A retirement reception was held Tuesday afternoon for Martha Alice Spraberry.

Martha Alice has been the county extension agent for family and consumer services.

She has been working with Texas A & M Extension Services since 1981.  She spent many years in Jones County and the last 5 years in Taylor County.

Spraberry plans on spending more time with a new grandchild.
