Baseball wedding
ABILENE, Texas -

In the game of baseball it's all about perfect timing, both on the mound and at the plate and the key to any successful team is good chemistry.

This isn't just true for sports but applies to love as well.

An Abilene couple knows this well and they proved it with an unlikely exchange of vows on home plate of Walt Driggers field.

This baseball fanatic couple shares a love for the game unlike most true Rangers fans and they wanted to show that in their wedding ceremony.

Aaron Coffman proposed to his bride last summer at a Ranger's game and since then it was never a question of how they would say their vows.

"This is just our relationship. This is just how we are." The couple stated.

Fans of this diamond duo were a part of the line up and stood beside the newlyweds on the chalk when they said  'I do.'

The flower girls, or I guess in this case Sunflower Girls, sprinkled the path with sunflower seeds as Diane walked down the mound with a baseball bouquet.

Plans for the wedding were made with careful attention to the Ranger's schedule so that the love birds can still make the game Monday night against the Angels.
