It's a sad reminder summer is almost over, but registration started Monday for kids new to Abilene ISD.

Parents can register their child for Head Start and Pre-K Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the Abilene Civic Center.

High school students can register August 13 and 14 at each campus from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Middle school and elementary students can register August 14 at their campus from noon until 4 p.m.

Dyess Air Force families can register any grade level August 6 at the Dyess Heritage Club on base from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Don't forget to bring your child's birth certificate, Social Security card, shot records, proof of residency, and any previous school records you may have.
