The Taylor County Sheriff's Office is dissolving it's warrant division in an effort to increase patrols in the county.

The change is an attempt to increase the serving of warrants by placing the responsibilty onto the departments 30 patrol deputies.

When a deputy is not currently working a call, he will be working the warrants assigned to him.

According to the sheriff's office, this change will also increase response time.
