Taylor County commissioners set polling places, early voting schedule for November election

ABILENE, Texas -

Taylor County Commissioners set the polling places and approved the early voting schedule for the Nov. 6 general election during a meeting Monday morning.

Early voting will run from Oct. 22 through Nov. 2:

*- Taylor County Plaza: Oct. 2-Oct. 26, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., 400 Oak Street, Suite 101; with extended hours on Oct. 29-Nov. 2 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

*- Branch Locations: Oct. 22-Oct. 26, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Mall of Abilene-Books A Million, 4310 Buffalo Gap Rd.; Hastings, 4709 S. 14th; United, 1095 N. Judge Ely Blvd., and K-Mart- 4565 S. 1st St.

Extended hours at these locations will be Oct. 29-Nov. 2, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Weekend voting will be:

*- Saturday, Oct. 27, Taylor County Plaza, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and for all branch locations, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

*- Sunday – Oct. 28, Taylor County Plaza, noon to 5 p.m., and for all branch locations, noon to 5 p.m.
