Taylor County joins Nolan County, Callahan County in imposing burn ban
Burn bans have been reinstated for Taylor, Nolan and Callahan counties.
Taylor County Judge Downing Bolls said the ban will be in effect until April 29.
Nolan County took the action during their Monday morning meeting. A county commissioner called Tuesday to notify the public that Callahan County was also under a ban.
This means no outdoor burning is allowed.
Breaking the ban is considered a misdemeanor. It is punishable by a fine up to $500.
