Early on in life Michele Einkauf knew she wanted to become a teacher.
After 12 years, her hard work paid off – and it's one of the many reasons why one of her students nominated her for Teacher Tribute.
Einkauf was nominated by Lilly Etter, a third-grade student at Austin Elementary.
"I think she's very nice and lets us do a lot of fun stuff," Etter said. "She's understanding and very friendly."
Einkauf aspired to be a teacher at a young age.
"I've known since I was little that I was going to be a teacher," Einkauf said. "I mean it's just been a calling. I want to invest in kids."
Her inspiration? Teachers and coaches that invested in her on a daily basis.
"I am who I am today because someone took the time for me, so I want to take the time for them," Einkauf said.
She is overwhelmed with joy after winning Teacher Tribute.
"It makes you feel special that someone took the time to look at your good qualities."
She said she'll pick a Mustang or SUV off the Arrow Ford lot to drive around town for two weeks.
