ABILENE, Texas -

Abilene police made two arrests Friday with connection to four armed robberies.

According to police, Paul Valadez, 18, and Eric Pack, 19, allegedly used guns to rob three convenience stores, one smoke shop and their customers Thursday night.

Police said the robberies occurred in a time span of fewer than two hours.

One of the locations robbed was the 7-11 in the 1400 block of South Treadaway.

Police said they were able to make the arrests within 16 hours after the robberies.

Valadez and Pack are each charged with four counts of aggravated robbery.

"Violent acts such as these robberies are unacceptable," Chief of Police Stan Standridge said Friday. "We are thankful for a community that stands with their police department against such crimes. "
