A two-vehicle crash claimed the lives of three people about 6 a.m. Sunday just north of Ballinger in Runnels County and about 50 miles south of Abilene.
The Department of Public Safety said a head-on collision along FM 2887, about two miles south of Highway 83, killed 20 year-old Juan Ramirez of Winters, Antonio Espino, also of Winters, and 23 year-old Brandon Scott Cochran, of San Angelo.
Ramirez was driving north on FM 2887.
Quinton Collins, the driver of the second vehicle, was driving south.
Ramirez drifted into oncoming traffic and hit Collins' Chevy Trailblazer.
Collins was not injured.
