Unlike the past few days when storms affected our western and northern areas, we will have a chance of showers and thunderstorms over most of our area Friday afternoon and evening.
Showers and thunderstorms are forecast to develop late afternoon Friday and continue into Friday evening. Large hail will be the main severe weather threat. However, watch out for lightning and possible damaging winds. We are looking at a similar situation for Saturday.
We are tracking a cold front that looks to blow in Sunday afternoon. This should give us a good chance of showers and thunderstorms for Sunday afternoon and evening. This front is forecast to stall just south of our area Monday. This should keep shower chances going for our area for much of next week.
Look for temperatures to finally drop back to more normal levels Monday with highs around 80 and lows around 60.
