Truck reported stolen found on fire near Lake Fort Phantom Hill

JONES COUNTY, Texas -

A truck that was reported stolen was found in flames Tuesday night near Lake Fort Phantom Hill.

Police say the 3/4-ton truck was found around 9:45 p.m. near FM 1082 and the spillway.

The truck had been seen driving around the lake earlier in the day.

Police said they contacted the owner of the truck, and he reported it was stolen.
