Two Abilenians were in stable condition Thursday morning at Hendrick Medical Center after being involved in a motorcycle accident on Amber Avenue, according to an Abilene Police news release.
The motorcycle?s driver, John Scott, 42, and passenger, Tristyn Spencer, 19, were ejected from the motorcycle about 12:45 a.m. Thursday in the 3800 block of Ambler Avenue, police said. When officers arrived on scene, a 2007 Victory motorcycle was found on its side in the outside lane of Ambler Avenue. Scott and Spencer reportedly weren?t wearing helmets, police said.
Police said the motorcycle had been traveling east on Ambler when it struck the south curb of Ambler at Westwood Drive. The crash is currently under investigation.
