Two experienced officers from other cities graduate Abilene modified police academy

ABILENE, Texas -

There will be two new police officers patrolling the streets of Abilene after Friday. 

Officers Daniel Henning and Jeremiah Torrez graduated after moving to Abilene from other agencies. Henning moved from the Arlington Police Department and Torrez came from Dallas PD.

They are both certified peace officers and Friday they officially graduated from the Abilene modified Police Academy, making them sworn Abilene police officers.
