A broken raw water intake line, which draws water from Lake Leon, has prompted Eastland city officials to urge users to “immediately begin conserving water until further notice.”
The line feeds the Eastland County Water Supply District’s treatment plant.
According to a news release, “It is not known how long the repairs will take but as soon as the all clear is given the public will be notified.”
For more information, Eastland residents are urged to call City Hall at 254-629-8321.
