US 83 construction begins Monday

Construction for two-phase project to repair sections of US 83 will begin Monday.
The first phase will affect the north and south lanes between Antilley Road and Iberis Road.
There will be daytime lane closures and occasional ramp closures.
The repairs should be completed by late December, and barricades will be removed at that time.
The second phase is expected to begin sometime in May.
