More people are unemployed in Abilene, according to Texas Work Force Solutions.

The unemployment rate for June in Abilene was 6.5%. This is up from May, which was 5.8%.

In Texas, the unemployment rate went up from 6.9% in May to 7% in June.

Texas remains below the national unemployment rate of 8.2%.
