The United Way celebrated a milestone.
It was a year of surpassing their campaign goal.
Tuesday, they announced their yearlong effort to raise money raked in just over two million dollars.
United Way dollars help fund dozens of non-profits around the Big Country.
The United Way also honored their volunteer of the year.
The recipient was lifelong volunteer, and former State Representative Bob Hunter.
