The Hillcrest Parade: 10 a.m. Wednesday at the corner of Campus Court and Bacon streets.
The River Oaks Parade around River Oaks Circle at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
The Jim Ned Valley Chamber of Commerce 4th of July celebration: 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Tuscola City Park and ending with a fireworks show at dusk.
Abilene Community Band Concert and Picnic: 7 p.m. Wednesday in the east lawn of the Church of the Heavenly Rest
Breckenridge: Boomfest: Tuesday night, July 3: Fireworks and music at The Rocks, gates open at 6 p.m. food, music, live entertainment, and fireworks show at 9:45 with band playing till midnight.
Sweetwater Parade, sponsored by Lion's Club: 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. Starts at courthouse and runs down Broadway, ending at Nolan County Coliseum
Roscoe Parade: Saturday, July 7, at 10 a.m. in downtown at west end of Broadway, live music 5-10 p.m. with booths, food and crafts downtown, fireworks 9:30 p.m. Mud Bog: 11 a.m. at the baseball field benefiting Little League and Roscoe FFA
Haskell County: Parade at The Anchor at Stamford Lake: starts 5:30 p.m. with fireworks at dusk.
Brownwood: Saturday, July 7, Fireworks Show at Wild Duck Marina, Lake Brownwood.
