The Wylie School District Board of Trustees had a bit of a shakeup Monday night.
Two new trustees were sworn in, Mark McClellan and Stephen Lowry. However, board president Ray Templeton resigned his position Monday.
Templeton announced that he has a relative who is seeking employment with the Wylie School District so he is resigning to avoid the appearance of a conflict of interest.
Trustees appointed out-going board member Don Poindexter to come back onto the board. Poindexter will rejoin at the next meeting.
The board also discussed STAAR test results, a class-size report, and summer workshops.
