Dyess Air Force Base says programs in place to help airmen with PTSD

ABILENE, Texas - In the wake of another deadly military base shooting at Fort Hood, we wanted to know, how Dyess Air Force Base handles the issue of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder?

Friday, the base addressed that topic.   Lt. Col. Marlin Moore talked about treatment options and resources available to Airmen who suffer from PTSD.

He said they encourage people to take advantage of their Comprehensive Airman Fitness or CAF program designed to promote mental, physical, social and spiritual fitness.

Dyess says they have many activities and events to promote awareness of PTSD among Dyess airmen.
