More than 2,000 pounds of dog food donated at Jackson Brothers Feed & Seed

ABILENE, Texas - Jackson Brothers Feed & Seed participated in a program with SPCA to help feed hundreds of animals in the shelter.

According to Paul Washburn, president of Rescue the Animals, SPCA, the shelter feeds more than 100 dogs daily. He said the $1,000 saved by the fundraiser will go toward medical care for the animals.

Jackson Brothers worked with Natura Pet Foods to match Innova and Evo brand dog food donated by customers.

This isn't the Jackson Brothers' first rodeo. Washburn said they also help with adoption events by partnering with them and the Abilene Animal Shelter.
