Man caught on camera stealing 25 chainsaws

CISCO, Texas - Cisco police officers are looking for a man who's been breaking into businesses, and stealing chainsaws and other items, sometimes in broad daylight.

Police say surveillance cameras caught several pictures of the man.

They say he stole 25 chainsaws, each valued between $200 - $600.

The burglaries happened at Higginbotham's store on November 17th and December 5th.

Cisco's Police Chief tells KTXS news the same man also tried to break into the Ace Hardware in Cisco. It was there that surveillance cameras caught a picture of his car.

Although, it appears to be a blue Pontiac, officers don't have any other clues to go on at this time.

Officers say the man might be trying to resell the chainsaws in the Big Country area.
