Bikers ride motorcycles around Abilene to benefit the American Red Cross
Bikers in Abilene "Rode for the Red" today to raise money for the American Red Cross.
Participants paid a $10 entry fee to ride around town and answer questions from a list provided at the beginning of the competition.
Lunch was also served to the bikers at the Red Cross offices at the end of the ride.
All proceeds from the event benefit the organization.
Among other services, the Red Cross collects and distributes more than 40 percent of the nation's blood supply.
