A 67-year-old Comanche woman was killed in a crash last week on State Highway 16, about .5 miles north of Comanche, State Police reported Monday.

Barbara Craddock Bush was pronounced dead at nearly 2 p.m. Thursday, according to a new release. Her body was taken to Comanche Funeral Home.

The single-vehicle accident occurred about 1 p.m. Thursday.

Her vehicle was traveling south on SH 16 when the vehicle “veered suddenly to the left crossing the northbound lane and into a ditch where it struck a pipe fence,” the State Police news release said.

According to the news release, the driver may have “suffered from a medical condition which contributed to the crash.”

No other information, the release said, is available.
