BEAUMONT, Texas -

Members of the country group Shenandoah have escaped injury when their tour bus was part of a fiery accident in Southeast Texas.

The crash happened early Saturday on the Neches River Bridge in Beaumont.

Shenandoah spokesman Don Murry Grubbs said Monday that the bus with band members and crew was eastbound on Interstate 10 after a show Friday night in Stafford, near Houston. He said the bus was following two vehicles when the back of one hit another hauling a fuel tank, sparking an explosion.

Drummer Mike McGuire said the bus was sideswiped and went through the fireball.

The Texas Department of Public Safety said a suspected drunken driver in a pickup truck will face charges. Two people in the other truck were transported to a hospital for treatment.
