Ex-San Angelo resident sentenced for receiving, distributing child porn

LUBBOCK, Texas - A 38-year-old man, formerly of San Angelo, has been sentenced to nearly 16 years in federal prison for receiving and distributing a “visual depiction of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct,” U.S. Attorney John Parker said Friday.

U.S. District Judge Sam R. Cummings’ sentencing of Jeffrey Neal Cuddington follows Cuddington previously pleading guilty to the charge in December 2016.

According to court documents, Cuddington, who officials say most recently lived in Maryland, “used his computers to search on the Internet for images and videos depicting minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct, and saved the images that he downloaded from the Internet.”

“On October 11, 2012, Cuddington distributed three images and received one image, all of which depict prepubescent female children under the age of 18 years engaged in sexually explicit conduct,” a news release said.
