Grand jury indicts 29 in Brown County

Twenty-nine people were indicted during the December 2016 session of the grand jury in Brown County, according to District Attorney Micheal Murray.

Among those indicted were:

*- Thomas Bayard Whitmire, driving while intoxicated

*- Brandon Lee Beam, assault family violence

*- Cynthia Dolores Marshall, injury to a child (repeat offender)

*- Rocky Gordon Martinez, evading arrest

*- Zackary Ryan Byram, tampering with or fabricating physical evidence

*- Page Lynn Clayton, tampering with or fabricating physical evidence

*- Lupe Hernandez Mendez, possession of a controlled substance

*- Nathan Cole Culp, possession of a controlled substance

*- Clayton Wilkins, burglary of a habitation

*- James Anthony Bilbrey, burglary of a habitation

*- Freddie Delvin Thomas, burglary of a habitation

*- Mildred Menchaca, possession of a control substance with intent to deliver – drug-free zone (repeat offender)

*- Alonzo Jacob Flores, evading arrest – deadly weapon; possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver

*- Kenneth Alton Butler, driving while intoxicated

*- Andrew Rey Delossantos, CT. I-IV retaliation

*- Richard Wayne Garza, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon – repeat/habitual offender

*- Carroll Dwayne Leblanc, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon – repeat offender

*- Michael Joe Somerville, burglary of a building

*- Daniel Venegas, possession of a controlled substance – drug-free zone

*- Israel Samuels, aggravated sexual assault of a child

The indictments of others who weren’t included in the above list were sealed, according to the district attorney’s office.
