It's been 50 years since HSU graduated the class of 1964.
To celebrate, the two-day festivities kicked off Monday at the school with a tour of the Dyess Welcome Center, which was a female dormitory back in 1964.
Those who lived on the first floor back in the day got a chance to search for their old room.
The golden grads got a bus tour of the campus and were treated to a concert by the school's Cowboy Band.
Band alumni were encouraged to sit in with their instruments and play a few songs with the band.
Many of the class members serve, or have served, as members of the HSU Board of Trusees, the Board of Development, the School of Music Foundation and the Alumni Association.
